A community radio station is a radio service offering a third model of radio broadcasting in addition to commercial and public broadcasting. They broadcast content that is popular and relevant to a local and specific audience.

Community radio stations are operated, owned and influence by the communities they serve, they empowers groups and individuals in community to contribute to the development of their societiesby allowing them to participateat the grassroots, sharing their wealth of knowledge and be part of creators and contributors I. The media world.

Considering all these, it is no exemption for the OOU 92.1 FM which happens to be the only radio station in IJEBU NORTH.

It is a campus radio station and situated at the communication village Ago-Iwoye, Ogun state.

community radio stations are generally not profit oriented but are saddled with the responsibilities of communication for development to expand the frontier knowledge through impact broadcast and needful programs like Entertainment, Sports, News, Interactive and educative program in both English and Indigenous language.
